Tanvi Sumit President Tanvi is a fourth-year Honors Medical Science student on the Pre-Medicine track with minors in Public Health and Integrative Medicine. Since the spring semester of 2021, she has consulted with the Cure Starts Now and Grant Us Hope. She also served as a Team Lead with the Reviv Foundation. During the 2022-2023 school year she served as the VP of External Affairs to create each project partnership. Tanvi is passionate about impacting healthcare-based nonprofits through problem-solving and team work. As president, she looks forward to building strong relationships with the community to create long term change in Cincinnati. |
David Kwan External Vice President David Kwan is a dedicated fourth-year Presidential Scholar, majoring in Medical Sciences. He became a part of SCNO in his sophomore year and has since contributed his skills and expertise through consultations with Santa Maria Community Services. Besides his commitment to SCNO, David demonstrates a well-rounded personality with his involvement in the Medical Symphony Orchestra and the UC Badminton Club. Transitioning from his role as Vice President of Metrics and Impact, where he was responsible for organizing and analyzing SCNO's nonprofit partner data, David has recently taken on the role of External Vice President. In this new position, he is looking forward to further strengthening SCNO's relationships with nonprofit partners and creating exciting and engaging projects for students in our organization. |
Alex Baker Internal Vice President Alex is a fourth-year student majoring in Finance with minors in Accounting and International Business. Since his freshman year, he has been actively engaged in various leadership roles, fostering community and enabling growth within organizations. He serves as the Vice President of Finance for Delta Sigma Pi, steering the organization's financial strategy and planning. Alex has also made significant contributions as the President of the Lindner Ambassadors, and is part of the Recruitment Committee of the Student Alumni Council, recruiting and mentoring new members. He currently holds the position of Vice President of Internal Affairs for SCNO, a role through which he looks forward to collaborating with the rest of the executive team to foster a strong sense of community within the organization. |
David Becker
Vice President of Marketing & Recruitment avid is a diligent second-year student who joined SCNO in the spring of his freshman year. Apart from his active role within SCNO, he participates in a number of activities and societies, including serving as a Lindner Ambassador. David is also deeply involved with Sigma Chi, where he holds the roles of both Computer Chair and Design Chair. His past projects demonstrate his commitment to community service, having worked with the Freestore Foodbank. On the professional front, David has completed two rewarding co-ops at P&G, where he utilized generative AI to enhance organic rankings and personalize website audiences. As the Vice President of Marketing and Recruitment for SCNO, David looks forward to utilizing his acquired skills and experience to drive the organization's growth and visibility, both on- and off-campus. |
Advika Sumit
Vice President of Metrics & Impact Advika is a motivated second-year Honors Medical Science student in the Connections BS/MD program, pursuing the path of becoming an altruistic physician. She is minoring in entrepreneurship and is interested in the business aspect of medicine. Through her first year of college, she has become involved with Biomedical Informatics research, medical scribing at the Children’s Hospital, and the Student Activities Board. As an aspiring physician and business professional, Advika is motivated to improve and assist non-profits with a focus on healing and equity. As Vice President of Metrics and Impact for SCNO, she aims to produce relevant and reliable statistics about our organization, follow-up on the quality and satisfaction of our services with non-profits, and create opportunities for our consultants to showcase the significance of the work SCNO does. |
